The mild® Procedure
The mild procedure is a minimally invasive treatment option for patients dealing with lumbar spinal stenosis (LSS) who have not gotten adequate relief from conservative treatment options. The mild Procedure treats a common underlying cause of LSS by restoring space in the spinal canal and reducing pressure on spinal nerves.
This is an outpatient procedure that can typically be performed in less than an hour and requires only a tiny incision about 5.1 mm long.
mild® is also FDA-cleared and does not require general anesthesia, implants, stitches, steroids, or opioids. It typically takes less than one hour to perform, and patients are able to resume most normal activities within 24 hours.
